db x-tracker exchange traded funds are passively managed funds that track the performance of indices by investing in the underlying constituents. There are 5 JSE listed db x-trackers, tracking the following indices: 

  • FTSE 100 - a free float market capitalisation weighted Index, containing the 100 largest UK shares in terms of market capitalization that are listed on the London Stock Exchange (Index base currency: GBP)
  • DJ Eurostoxx 50 - a free float market capitalisation weighted index, containing the 50 most liquid blue chip stocks from countries within the Eurozone. (index base currency: EUR)
  • MSCI World - Index reflects the performance of the developed world’s equity markets. (index base currency: USD)
  • MSCI USA - Index reflects the performance of the USA equity markets. The Index contains about 600 constituent securities. (Index base currency: USD)
  • MSCI Japan - Index reflects the performance of the Japanese equity markets. The Index contains about 400 constituent securities representing companies with a total market capitalisation of approximately US$2.6 trillion. (Index base currency: JPY)
